"Knowledge is power. Information is liberating. Education is the premise of progress, in every society, in every family." - Kofi Annan

About me

I joined the Wikimedia Foundation as an intern in June 2016. I am a rising senior in high school, with aspirations to double major in political science and journalism/communications. I am very passionate about the issue of eliminating stigma surrounding mental health and illness. You'll often find me giving talks or lessons at local schools and events. Aside from mental health, I have interests in politics, geography and world culture, creative writing, makeup and beauty, music, and vexillology. In my free time, I enjoy competitive debate, surfing the Web, learning geography facts, playing softball, or reading.

My work

I assist the Education Collaborative team in spreading use of Wikipedia in the classroom worldwide. I am also working closely with the Education Collaborative to spearhead a global education campaign for high school and higher education teachers.
